Transfer Students
The SouthEast Florida Engineering Education Consortium (SEFEEC) is a collaborative effort of Florida Atlantic
University, Florida International University (FIU), Broward Community College (BCC), Indian River Community College
(IRCC), Miami-Dade College (MDC), and Palm Beach Community College (PBCC), to identify appropriate courses that
will count towards an Associates (AA) degree and then transfer to an engineering program at either FAU or FIU. The consortium
also works to enhance the quality of engineering curricula and instruction, and to strengthen the links between
community colleges and universities. Prospective students from these community colleges should consult the SEFEEC
web site at www.sefeec.org.
Students with additional questions regarding transfer to the FAU Civil Engineering BSCivE program should consult with the
civil engineering department's student advisor.
